I just wanted to let everyone (current clients especially) know what’s been going on for the last week. Unfortunately, my brand new niece went into the NICU about 7 hours after she was born, and is going to be in there for at least a month. What that means is I’m not going to be able to take on any new clients for a couple of months, and that existing client work is going to be a bit delayed (although I do know of a couple of other good WP customizers I can refer you to).
I am hoping I’ll be able to go home for at least a week after we know she’s going to be ok and get back to work for a bit before I come back up. My primary job right now is taking care of my 2 year old nephew, and it seems that doing the “Hot Dog Dance” for 8 hours a day doesn’t leave a whole lot of time (or brain cells) left at the end of the day for coding.
Also, GoDaddy (hereafter refererred to as “The Worst Web Host in the World”) didn’t tell me that transferring my domain name (which I was doing because of the 4 PHP injection attacks my site suffered last month) would cause them to delete my main business email. So, if you’ve emailed me any time over the last 4 days or so didn’t get to me (or is it 5? – the days are kind of running together – figure if it was sent in June, it wasn’t received). My contact form *is* working, though (I love you, Gravity Forms!!!!), so if you have to get ahold of me, try that or sending an email to cfordrun@cfordrun.com so I’ll get it.
If anything changes, I’ll go ahead and update you here. I will try to spend some time tonight straightening out the e-mail, but it sounds like my nephew is getting up from his nap, so it looks like I’m off to do the Hot Dog Dance some more
